Welcome to the Ocean Internal Wave Online Atlas.

This Atlas is a direct result of research being done by the Center for Remote Sensing in the College of Marine and Earth Studies at the University of Delaware. The site contains a searchable database of images that document internal waves in different areas of the world. Included along with each image, is an analysis of the internal solitons. Hopefully you will find this page relatively easy to use - just click on the menu bar above or to the left. To initiate a search click on the 'clickmap' and follow instructions. In order to best view the data and utilize everything it has to offer, it is recommended that you use Internet Explorer 4.0 or above and have your desktop area set to at least 1024 x 768 pixels.
